Okay So.. this guy asked me out today.. (over text) and i was like yeah sure whatever.. but now im like i dont really wanna date the dude. and its springbreak so i have to wait 2 weeks before i can break up with him if i want to do it in person. But i want to get it over with. So should i do it over text?How do i break up with him?

If he just asked you on a date, then you can simply tell him that you're no longer comfortable going on a date with him, but that you would hang out as friends. You have his number so you can call and tell him that.





If he asked you to be his girlfriend, the approach is similar. Call him up and let him know that after rethinking it, you're rushed in and would like to have some more time. You're not sure it would be a good idea to date right now, and you're not ready for that kind of responsibility and don't feel you're ready for a relationship with him. Let him know that you simply got excited and rushed into answering before you fully thought about it.
