After my recent big break-up with God, How can I go from HATING God to simply being indifferent towards him?

When you love someone with all your heart and then realize he is totally phony and fake and lie and myth, the first response is to HATE him. Its human nature like when you break up with a bf you go from loving to hating him. Its only after a while that you become indifferent and when you see him somewhere your like meh. How can I train myself to stop hating God and just go to feeling nothing for him? After my recent big break-up with God, How can I go from HATING God to simply being indifferent towards him?
In all cases of heartbreak, time heals. When you cool down you will be in a better frame of mind. You are not debating with reason only anger and you cannot find the answer in this state of mind. Also know that if you really hate someone, its because you still love them. After my recent big break-up with God, How can I go from HATING God to simply being indifferent towards him?
Before you jump ship, consider the source of your realization. Your first response may be anger, hurt, feeling betrayed, etc. Feelings can be very tricky and complicated. What feels like rage now, after taking a step back may be a moment of devastation, but in a relationship that was worth you investing your whole heart sounds like it is worth seeking further answers. However, There are things in this world we have absolutely no control over, and as much as we want to everything can not be explained in black and white. I believe if you seek His heart with your heart, he will reveal to you what you need to know. And be real with Him, He understands our humanness. Regardless of how you feel right now, he loves you very, very much and is ready to meet you at your point of pain.
God is real. He is not some phony or fake. I would guess that you have been exposed to some false doctrines about God and as a result, since He didn't do your will but did His own will you are angry about it and don't want to believe in Him anymore.

Many Christians have gone through similar experiences like when a relative died that they had been praying for night and day. You have to realize that God works all things together for good and that what we might perceive as the best outcome to a situation doesn't fit in with His eternal plan.

If I were you I would seek to talk to a Pastor or a Christian counselor about your feelings and see if they can help walk with you through whatever has caused you to hate God and not believe in Him.
Hi Elin,

Don't worry about the past, think about the future. Everyone past have dark side. God always wants you to be happy rather than sad. Might be your ex boyfriend was not right for you only god know the best. Don't see above, see below your beautiful you will get more intelligent and handsome guy.

Patients is the jewel of women. Don't jump into any conclusion.

There are lot of reason to love god for you.

You beautiful, you not depended on any one, etc..

Bring a smile one who is worried, then you will understand the reason to live.
Same formula apply with god. Be patient! The time taken for being indifferent will be more since God has longer life than that of a boy friends. And take care not to restart loving God during this period. I love you and your feeling.
if you are comparing God to a boyfriend

do you just have sex with a different God? :P
Nothing there to hate.
Don't worry, it takes time, but you'll get there.

Hi elin, Sorry for your condition.

I suggest you to read the bhagavad geeta chapter 16. You may come out from your feelings.

4 verses of bhagavad geeta are below

Chapter 16 (verse 13-14-15 and 16)

Translation:

The demoniac person thinks: ';So much wealth do I have today, and I will gain more according to my schemes. So much is mine now, and it will increase in the future, more and more. He is my enemy, and I have killed him; and my other enemy will also be killed. I am the lord of everything. I am the enjoyer. I am perfect, powerful and happy. I am the richest man, surrounded by aristocratic relatives. There is none so powerful and happy as I am. I shall perform sacrifices, I shall give some charity, and thus I shall rejoice.'; In this way, such persons are deluded by ignorance.

Thus perplexed by various anxieties and bound by a network of illusions, one becomes too strongly attached to sense enjoyment and falls down into hell.

PURPORT

The demoniac man knows no limit to his desire to acquire money. That is unlimited. He only thinks how much assessment he has just now and schemes to engage that stock of wealth farther and farther. For that reason, he does not hesitate to act in any sinful way and so deals in the black market for illegal gratification. He is enamored by the possessions he has already, such as land, family, house and bank balance, and he is always planning to improve them. He believes in his own strength, and he does not know that whatever he is gaining is due to his past good deeds. He is given an opportunity to accumulate such things, but he has no conception of past causes. He simply thinks that all his mass of wealth is due to his own endeavor. A demoniac person believes in the strength of his personal work, not in the law of karma. According to the law of karma, a man takes his birth in a high family, or becomes rich, or very well educated, or very beautiful because of good work in the past. The demoniac think that all these things are accidental and due to the strength of his personal ability. He does not sense any arrangement behind all the varieties of people, beauty, and education. Anyone who comes into competition with such a demoniac man is his enemy. There are many demoniac people, and each is enemy to the others. This enmity becomes more and more deep--between persons, then between families, then between societies, and at last between nations. Therefore there is constant strife, war and enmity all over the world.

Each demoniac person thinks that he can live at the sacrifice of all others. Generally, a demoniac person thinks of himself as the Supreme God, and a demoniac preacher tells his followers: ';Why are you seeking God elsewhere? You are all yourselves God! Whatever you like, you can do. Don't believe in God. Throw away God. God is dead.'; These are the demoniac's preachings.

Although the demoniac person sees others equally rich and influential, or even more so, he thinks that no one is richer than he and that no one is more influential than he. As far as promotion to the higher planetary system is concerned, he does not believe in performing yajnas or sacrifices. Demons think that they will manufacture their own process of yajna and prepare some machine, by which they will be able to reach any higher planet. The best example of such a demoniac man was Ravana. He offered a program to the people by which he would prepare a staircase so that anyone could reach the heavenly planets without performing sacrifices, such as are prescribed in the Vedas. Similarly, in the present age such demoniac men are striving to reach the higher planetary systems by mechanical arrangements. These are examples of bewilderment. The result is that, without their knowledge, they are gliding toward hell. Here the Sanskrit word moha-jala is very significant. Jala means net; like fish caught in a net, they have no way to come out.
