How should I break up with him, I still want to be friends?

We've been going out for about 7 months, and he still likes me but I want to break up. I don't want to hurt his feelings, and I really just want to be friends with him, what should I do and what can I say?

breaking up is hard for the person that is getting dumped. but they will eventually get over it... when he gets over it he will move on and find someone else... give it months before contacting him again.. that is if u wanna still be friends...How should I break up with him, I still want to be friends?
If u break up with him you are going to hurt his feelings no matter what, so dont think breaking up wont hurt. Even if u say the nicest things when you break up with him he will still be very sad, and u probally wont be friends right away. But it always helps when u break up with someone if you give them a reason why ur dumping them, that way they can improve in upcoming relationships

why are you breaking up with him..%26amp; dont tell him you just wana be friends cos that just hurts..anyway ok..just say things aint working out no more %26amp; you dont feel the same way as before...%26amp; you dont want to waste his time when he could find someon thats crazy about him..good luck..xx
